INTRODUCTION

The Textile and Clothing Technology training program at Hanoi University of Science and Technology is developed in accordance with international CDIO standards, integrating with learning materials including lecture halls, modernly equipped practical rooms, and over 50 training textbooks published by the Institute's lecturers. Learners are provided with advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills, participate in scientific research activities, and gain practical experience at leading-edge enterprises.

For over 68 years, the Textile and Clothing Technology program at Hanoi University of Science and Technology has prepared graduates with the competencies required to engage in all stages of the domestic and international textile and apparel supply chain. The program consistently achieves a 100% employment rate within 1–3 months of graduation, with graduates benefiting from extensive opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.
 

TRAINING PROGRAM

Graduation:  Bachelor's – 4 years; Integrated bachelor's – engineering (or master's) – 4+1.5 years.
Bachelor - Engineer level includes the following specializations:
  • Textile production technology
  • Clothing technology
  • Fashion design and footwear
  • Textile material and finishing
  • Textile fabric design
Admission form:
  • Talent Selection (Direct Admission)
  • Admission is determined by the results of the national high school graduation examination (A00; A01; D07, K01)
  • Admission based on the results of the Thinking Assessment Exam (K00)
Tuition fee: 22 to 28 million VND/academic year
 Scholarship: 60-70 scholarships/year from businesses

PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES:

On successful completion of the programme, students will be able to:
1. Apply basic and core knowledge to solve practical problems of textile and garment enterprises.
2. Design textile and garment solutions, systems, processes, and products (according to specialized field) suitable to the needs and actual conditions of the enterprise.
3. Plan implementation, manage textile product quality, control textile technology solutions/ processes/ systems.
4. Proficient in using computers and applying information technology, specialized software to support solving design and technology problems.
5. Use technical processes, standards, and specialized equipment in the design, production, and quality assessment of textile and garment products.
6. Apply critical thinking, creativity and lifelong learning to adapt to technological changes.
7. Work effectively in teams, using communication and foreign language skills in professional communication.
8. Demonstrate social responsibility, professional ethics and compliance with standards and regulations in the textile and garment industry.
9. Design and implement surveys/ experiments or research on textile and garment technology.
 

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AFTER GRADUATION

  • Lecturers, researchers at universities, colleges, research institutes, and quality control centers for Textiles, Garment, Fashion, and Leather footwear;
