* School of Materials trains undergraduate and graduate majors in materials manufacturing technology from source materials to smelting, casting and rolling of metals, non-ferrous alloys and heat treatment of materials surface metal; training in advanced materials and nanostructures; electronic materials science, optical materials, optoelectronics and photonics; textile technology - footwear and fashion; polymeric materials - polymeric-based composites, printing and communication techniques. In order to research and develop technologies and products for socio-economic development, research must be carried out along the product chain. Therefore, the merger of specialized units close to the School of Materials aims to optimize resources for effective implementation of science and technology activities and innovation, and to optimize resources for training activities.
