Scientific background


INTRODUCTION

Dr. Nguyen Anh Son is currently a senior lecturer in the Department of Materials Science, Surface and Heat treatment, School of Materials Science and Egineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Dr. Nguyen Anh Son studied Materials Engineering at the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology in Germany. He completed his undergraduate thesis at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology and recieeved the grade of Diplom Engineer here in 1998. Later, he obtained a Master's degree in Materials Science from the School of Materials Science and Technology at Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2001. In 2013, he successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation in Materials at the same university. Currently, Dr. Nguyen Anh Son's research interests include the following topics: heat and surface treatment of steels, heat treatment, nitriding and hard coating for titanium alloy, heat treatment process for alloys manufactured by 3D priting and additive manufacturing.
