INTRODUCTION
Ass. Prof. Dr. Chu Dieu Huong is currently a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Textiles - Leather and Fashion, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Ass. Prof. Dr. Chu Dieu Huong graduated in engineering of Textile technology at Institute of light industries (Kiev – Ukraine, USSR) in 1993, received a Master's degree in Textile technological process, textile material and paratextile at Mulhouse University (Republic of France) in 2001. In 2008, Ass. Prof. Dr. Chu Dieu Huong completed her PhD thesis majoring in Polymer Material and Composite at Lyon 1 Claude Bernard University (Republic of France). Current research directions of Ass. Prof. Dr. Chu Dieu Huong includes: Design and technology of knitted fabrics, biomedical textile, functionnal textile; Emulsion and surfactants in textile industry; Synthesis and analytical techniques of textile polymer; Microencapsulation and application in textile field.
