INTRODUCTION

Associate Professor, PhD. Bui Van Huan is a senior lecturer at the Department of Textiles, Garment, Footwear and Fashion, School of Materials, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Associate Professor, PhD. Bui Van Huan graduated from the University of Leather and Footwear Technology, Moscow National University of Light Industry, Russia (now Moscow National University of Fashion and Technology) in 1995, receiving a Master's degree in Technology of Textile Materials, Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2002. In 2006, Associate Professor, PhD. Bui Van Huan received a Ph.D's degree in Footwear Technology from Moscow National University of Fashion and Technology. In 2012, Associate Professor, PhD. Bui Van Huan was recognized as meeting the academic standards of associate professor. Current research directions of Associate Professor, PhD. Bui Van Huan includes:
  • Research into automation of shoe and shoe form design;
  • Research into the design and manufacture of specialized shoes;
  • Research the hygiene and ecology of textile, garment and footwear materials and products;
  • Research on recycling of textile, garment and footwear waste.
